Annual Spring Symposium

Since Spring 2023, ACI has hosted an annual Spring Symposium. The longer
symposium format allows us to engage more deeply on a specific topic or theme by
bringing experts to our main Georgetown University campus over a half-day event.
Symposia allow us to highlight several speakers and/or panels and work with both on-
and off-campus institutional partners, providing opportunities for in-depth conversation
and greater nuance. Since 2024 we have also organized a closed-door workshop
before or after the public symposium, to provide an opportunity for researchers and
practitioners to discuss additional collaboration and dissemination activities.
